First journey to Dhaka 

When I was only seven years old and a student of class two, I made my first journey to Dhaka with my Nana and Nani. It was a long trip from Paikgacha to Dhaka. The name of the bus service was Ananda Paribahan. At Goalondaghat, we boarded a ferry. The charming river deeply attracted me. Goalonda became my favorite place, especially for eating our national fish, hilsa. I still vividly remember that first journey to Dhaka. Though Dhaka now feels much closer to Khulna, that journey remains very special in my memory.
