.         Begum Rokeya :

Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain was a pioneering Bengali writer, feminist, and activist who championed women's education and equality in British India. Born in 1880, she founded schools for Muslim girls, organized women's groups, and used her writings like the novel Padmarag and the story Sultana's Dream to critique oppressive practices like purdah and advocate for women's independence and intellectual development. She was a tireless advocate for women's emancipation through education and economic self-sufficiency, a cause she pursued until her death in 1932
