ঢাকা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের নিজস্ব রেজাল্ট পোর্টাল হলো result.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd।

৮০–১০০ | A+ | ৫.
৭০–৭৯ | A | ৪.
৬০–৬৯ | A- | ৩.
eboardresults.com-এ যান।
Get Result
educationboardresults.gov.bd না খুললে eboardresults.com চেষ্টা করুন, আর দুটোই না খুললে ঢাকা বোর্ডের নিজস্ব সাইট result.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd দেখুন।

What to Keep Ready Before Checking the Result
On result day, many students make mistakes while hurrying to find their numbers. Keep the following ready before 29 October:
Roll number: The roll number given on the HSC admit card. No method works without it.
Registration number: The registration number is required to see the marksheet with marks. It is written on the admit card or the registration card.
Board name: Dhaka must be selected in the Board option of the form. Selecting the wrong board will show "roll not found".
Examination year: 2026 must be selected in the Year option.
A good internet connection: Keep both Wi-Fi and mobile data available if possible, so that if one fails, the other can be used.
Sufficient mobile balance: If you want to check the result by SMS, keep some balance in your mobile, because sending an SMS to 16140 is chargeable.
Arrangement to save the marksheet: Keep enough space on your phone or computer to save a PDF copy of the marksheet.
Do not share your roll and registration numbers with anyone. Anyone with these two numbers can view your result. When posting a screenshot of your result on social media, hide the roll and registration numbers.
When Will the Dhaka Board HSC Result Be Published?
The HSC Dhaka Board Result 2026 will be published on Thursday, 29 October 2026, in the morning. The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee confirmed this date in its notice of 24 October 2026, and the same date was announced in the press release of 26 October 2026. The results of the 9 general education boards, the Madrasah Education Board and the Technical Education Board will all be published on the same day.
On result day, the online portals come under heavy traffic in the morning, so the websites may load slowly or go down for a short while. There is no reason to panic — once published, the result remains available all day. If a website does not open, use the SMS method, which needs no internet connection.
How to Check the Dhaka Board Result Online
There are two official portals for checking the result online. Both show the same result, but the first one shows only grades with the roll number, while the second one shows the full marksheet with subject-wise marks using the registration number. Both methods are explained step by step below.
Check on educationboardresults.gov.bd
This is the official result portal of the education boards. Follow these steps to check the Dhaka Board result:
Go to the educationboardresults.gov.bd website.
Select HSC/Alim in the Examination option.
Select 2026 in the Year option.
Select Dhaka in the Board option.
Enter your HSC examination roll number in the Roll field.
Enter your registration number in the Reg: No field.
Solve the addition or subtraction sum shown below (for example, 5 + 3 = 8).
Click the Submit button.
Your name, roll, registration number, institution name, group, grade point (GPA) and the grade of each subject will appear on the screen. This method shows grades only, not subject-wise marks. To see the marks, use the next method.
Check the Marksheet on eboardresults.com
eboardresults.com is the web-based result portal of the education boards, where the full marksheet with subject-wise marks is available. The steps are:
Go to the eboardresults.com website.
Select HSC/Alim in the Examination option.
Select 2026 in the Year option.
Select Dhaka in the Board option.
Select Individual Result in the Result Type option.
Enter your Roll and Registration numbers.
Solve the sum shown as the Security Key.
Click the Get Result button.
Your full marksheet will appear on the screen — the marks obtained in each subject, grades, grade points and total GPA. This marksheet can be printed or saved as a PDF.
Check on the Dhaka Board's Own Website
The Dhaka Education Board's own result portal is result.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd. When the two main portals are under heavy load on result day, this site can be used as an alternative. The board's notice board on this site also carries all result-related instructions and institution-wise result lists. The board's main website dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd also provides a result link on result day.
One thing to remember — in the board list of the result form, you will see an option called "DIBS (Dhaka)". This is not a separate board; it is the Diploma in Business Studies (DIBS) examination under the Dhaka Board. Regular HSC candidates must select the Dhaka option, not DIBS.
How to Check the Dhaka Board HSC Result by SMS
When there is no internet, or the website does not open, SMS is the most reliable way to check the result. The SMS code for the Dhaka Board is DHA. SMS can be sent from any mobile operator (Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, Teletalk).
SMS Format:
HSC DHA <Roll Number> 2026
Example: If your roll number is 123456, type the message —
HSC DHA 123456 2026
Then send the message to 16140. Within a short time, a reply SMS will inform you of your GPA and the grade of each subject.
Points to remember while sending the SMS:
Put a single space between each of the four parts — HSC, DHA, roll number and 2026.
DHA must be written in capital letters.
Do not put any space or hyphen inside the roll number.
Match the roll number with your admit card before sending.
If you send the SMS before the result is published, you may receive a reply like "Result not published yet" — in that case, send it again after publication.
SMS shows only GPA and grades; to know the subject-wise marks, check the marksheet online.
Dhaka Board Marksheet with Number and PDF Download
The marksheet shows the marks obtained in each subject, grades, grade points, total GPA and the pass or fail status. The best way to view the Dhaka Board marksheet is eboardresults.com. After viewing the Individual Result with your roll and registration numbers, the full marksheet appears on the screen.
How to save the marksheet as a PDF:
On a computer, open the marksheet, go to the browser's Print option, select Save as PDF as the Destination, and then click Save.
On a mobile phone, open the marksheet, go to the browser menu, select Share or Print, and choose Save as PDF.
The marksheet PDF may be needed later for admission applications and other work, so keep it saved on your device.
What to check while reading the marksheet:
The marks and grade of each subject are shown beside the subject name.
An F grade in any subject means failure in that subject.
For the fourth (optional) subject, the portion above 2.00 is added to the GPA calculation.
The total GPA shown on the marksheet is your final result.
GPA and Grading System of the Dhaka Board
The Dhaka Board follows the same grading system as all other education boards in the country. The grade and grade point of each subject are determined by the marks obtained in that subject. The table below shows the relationship between marks, grades and grade points:
Marks Obtained | Grade | Grade Point |
80–100 | A+ | 5.00 |
70–79 | A | 4.00 |
60–69 | A- | 3.50 |
50–59 | B | 3.00 |
40–49 | C | 2.00 |
33–39 | D | 1.00 |
0–32 | F | 0.00 |
The total GPA is calculated from the average of the grade points of all subjects. However, there is a special rule for the fourth (optional) subject — 2.00 is deducted from the grade point of the fourth subject, and the remaining part is added to the total GPA. For example, if you get A+ (5.00) in the fourth subject, (5.00 − 2.00) = 3.00 will be added. If you get F in the fourth subject, it has no effect on the GPA.
An F grade in any subject means failure in that subject, and the overall result will show as failed even if you get A+ in all other subjects. So it is important to check the grade of each subject separately on the marksheet. To get GPA-5, you do not need A+ in every subject — because of the extra points from the fourth subject, a total GPA of 5.00 is possible even with an A in one subject.
Dhaka Board Institution Result (by EIIN)
To view the results of all students of a college together, the Institution Result method is used. This is mainly used by college authorities and teachers, but guardians can also use it to know the overall result of a college.
Steps to check the institution result:
Go to eboardresults.com.
Select HSC/Alim in Examination, 2026 in Year and Dhaka in Board.
Select Institution Result in the Result Type option.
Enter the EIIN number of the college (the EIIN number is available on the college notice board or the board's website).
Click the Get Result button.
The list of all candidates of that institution — roll, name, GPA and pass or fail status — will appear. Since thousands of colleges fall under the Dhaka Board, the list of a large institution is long; save the page as a PDF if needed.
Dhaka Board Pass Rate in the Previous Year
In the 2025 HSC examination, the Dhaka Board's pass rate was 64.62%. This was the highest among the 9 general education boards. For comparison, the 2025 pass rates of the other boards are given below:
Board | Pass Rate in 2025 |

Barishal | 62.57% |
Rajshahi | 59.40% |

Jashore | 50.20% |
Cumilla | 48.86% |
Madrasah | 75.61% |
Technical | 62.67% |
Even with the highest number of candidates (300,393), the Dhaka Board's pass rate was the highest among the general boards — encouraging news for Dhaka Board candidates. However, the pass rate changes every year, so the 2025 rate cannot be used to predict the 2026 result. The final pass rate of 2026, the number of GPA-5 achievers and the board-wise positions will be announced at the board's press conference on result day.
Dhaka Board vs Other Boards — Comparison by Number of Candidates
In the 2026 HSC examination, a total of 1,270,583 candidates appeared across 11 boards. Of these, the Dhaka Board alone had 300,393 candidates — about 24 percent of the total. The second-highest, the Rajshahi Board, had 140,830 candidates, less than half of Dhaka's number. The table below shows the number of candidates of all boards:
Board | Candidates |
Dhaka | 300,393 |
Rajshahi | 140,830 |
Jashore | 117,210 |
Dinajpur | 113,479 |
Technical | 107,964 |
Chattogram | 99,688 |
Cumilla | 94,802 |
Madrasah | 92,905 |
Mymensingh | 73,037 |
Sylhet | 71,711 |
Barishal | 58,664 |
These numbers explain why the Dhaka Board result portal comes under the heaviest load on result day. The Dhaka Board has more than double the candidates of the second board, so it is quite normal for the website to load slowly in the first hours of the morning. This is why it is especially important for Dhaka Board candidates to know the SMS method in advance.
Districts Under the Dhaka Board
The colleges of the districts of the Dhaka Division fall under the Dhaka Education Board. Students of Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Tangail, Kishoreganj, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Narsingdi, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Madaripur, Rajbari and Shariatpur sit for the HSC examination under the Dhaka Board. Because thousands of colleges across this vast area fall under this board, its number of candidates is far higher than that of any other board.
The renowned colleges of Dhaka city — such as Dhaka College, Notre Dame College, Rajuk Uttara Model College, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, Holy Cross College, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School and Adamjee Cantonment College — all fall under the Dhaka Board. On result day, students of these large institutions also check their results from the same portals, so the server load is highest in the morning.
One advantage for Dhaka Board students is that the board's head office is located at Bakshibazar in Dhaka. So students in Dhaka can comparatively easily visit the board office for work such as marksheet correction, certificate collection or board challenge matters. However, most work can be done through one's own college; it is better to contact the college authority before going directly to the board office.
What to Do After the Result
The first task after getting the result is to check the marksheet carefully — the spelling of your name, roll number, the marks and grades of each subject. If any subject's marks are lower than expected, or you notice an error, do not panic; the board provides a prescribed process to address it.
Board Challenge (Re-scrutiny)
If you are not satisfied with the result of any subject, you can apply for a board challenge or re-scrutiny with the Dhaka Board. The fee is 150 taka per paper. The application deadline, application method and other conditions are announced in the board's notice on or after result day. Do not try to apply based on any assumed date before the notice is published — the board's official notice is the only reliable source. This post will be updated with the board challenge information once the notice is published.
Admission and Next Steps
After passing HSC, applications begin for university admission tests, medical and engineering admission tests, and honours admission under the National University. Keep a PDF copy of the marksheet and your registration number ready for admission applications. Dhaka Board students can sit for the admission tests of all public universities of the country, including the University of Dhaka; each university publishes its own admission circular separately.
Troubleshooting — Problems on Result Day
On result day, the highest number of visitors try to check their results at the same time, so some common problems appear. The solution for each problem is given below:
Website not opening or loading slowly: This is the most common problem on result day. Wait a while and try again. If educationboardresults.gov.bd does not open, try eboardresults.com, and if both fail, try the Dhaka Board's own site result.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd. If none works, use the SMS method — it needs no internet.
No reply to the SMS: First check the message format — HSC DHA <roll> 2026, with a single space between each part. A wrong roll number will bring no reply. If the format is correct, wait a while and send it again; the SMS server is also under heavy load in the first one or two hours after publication.
"Roll number not found" message: This usually happens for three reasons — (1) a board other than Dhaka was selected in the Board option, (2) the roll or registration number was typed wrong, (3) the result has not been published yet. Match both numbers with your admit card and make sure Dhaka is selected in the Board option.
Marks not showing on the marksheet: educationboardresults.gov.bd shows grades only, not marks. To see the marksheet with marks, check the Individual Result on eboardresults.com. If the marks still do not appear, clear the browser cache and try again.
Security Key sum not accepted: Read the sum carefully and enter the answer. The form will not submit with a wrong answer. If the sum is hard to read, refresh the page to get a new one.
Wrong board selected: Before submitting the form, check once that Dhaka is selected in the Board option. The DIBS (Dhaka) option is not for regular HSC candidates — it is for the Diploma in Business Studies.
Error in name or information: If there is an error in the spelling of your name or any other information in the result, you need to apply for correction to the Dhaka Education Board through your college. This error cannot be fixed online.
GPA does not look right: First match the grade and grade point of each subject on the marksheet. Remember the fourth-subject rule — 2.00 is deducted from the grade point of the fourth subject and the rest is added. After calculating it yourself, if there is still a mismatch, talk to a teacher of your college; the board challenge route remains open if needed.
Delay in seeing the result on result day: The load is highest in the first one or two hours of the morning on result day. Instead of refreshing again and again during this time, try again after 30–40 minutes. Usually the server becomes normal by noon. Remember, once the result is published, it remains available all day — seeing it a little late causes no harm.
Step-by-Step Plan for Result Day
To avoid any trouble on result day, finish all preparations the night before. Following the plan below will make checking the result much easier:
The night before: Write your roll and registration numbers on a piece of paper or note them on your phone. Check whether your mobile has enough balance and an internet pack. Keep your phone charged.
On the morning of the result: First try to check the result on educationboardresults.gov.bd. If the site does not open, wait 5–10 minutes and try again. Refreshing again and again only increases the load on the server, so be patient.
If the website does not open: Send an SMS directly — type HSC DHA <roll> 2026 and send it to 16140. Once you know the GPA from the SMS, check the marksheet online later at your convenience.
After getting the marksheet: Save a PDF copy of the marksheet. Match the marks and grades of each subject. If you notice any error, talk to a teacher of your college.
After getting the result: If you need a board challenge, wait for the board's notice. If you are preparing for admission tests, keep a copy of the marksheet ready. Whatever the result is, do not be disappointed — the HSC result is not the last word in life; many more paths remain open ahead.

Q: What do I need to check the Dhaka Board result?
A: Roll number and registration number are needed to check the result online. Only the roll number is enough for the SMS method. Both numbers are written on the admit card.
Q: How are the marks of the fourth subject added to the GPA?
A: 2.00 is deducted from the grade point of the fourth subject, and the remaining part is added to the total GPA. For example, A+ (5.00) in the fourth subject adds 3.00. An F in the fourth subject has no effect on the GPA.
Q: If I fail in one subject, will the whole result be a failure?
A: Yes, an F grade in any subject means failure in that subject, and the overall result will also show as failed, even if you get good marks in all other subjects. The failed subject can be retaken in the examination of the following year.
Q: Which districts fall under the Dhaka Board?
A: The districts of the Dhaka Division — Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Tangail, Kishoreganj, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Narsingdi, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Madaripur, Rajbari and Shariatpur — fall under the Dhaka Education Board.
Q: How many days after the result will the original marksheet be available?
A: After the result is published, the board sends the original marksheets and certificates to the colleges. Usually the original marksheet can be collected from one's own college within a few weeks. The exact date is announced on the college notice board.
Q: Can the Dhaka Board result be checked from a mobile phone?
