অনেকেই এই তিনটি শব্দ এক অর্থে ব্যবহার করেন, কিন্তু এদের মধ্যে পার্থক্য আছে। ভুল কাগজ জমা দিলে ভর্তি বা আবেদন আটকে যেতে পারে, তাই পার্থক্যটা জেনে রাখা জরুরি।

অনলাইনে মার্কশিট দেখার নিয়ম — পদ্ধতি ১: educationboardresults.gov.bd

শিক্ষা বোর্ডের অফিসিয়াল রেজাল্ট পোর্টাল educationboardresults.gov.bd থেকে মার্কশিট দেখা সবচেয়ে নির্ভরযোগ্য পদ্ধতি। ফল প্রকাশের দিন এই সাইটে একসঙ্গে লাখ লাখ মানুষ ঢোকে, তাই সকালের প্রথম ঘণ্টায় সাইট ধীর হতে পারে — ধৈর্য ধরে দুই-একবার চেষ্টা করলেই ফল পাওয়া যায়।

ধাপ ১: মোবাইল বা কম্পিউটারের ব্রাউজারে educationboardresults.gov.bd ঠিকানায় যান।

ধাপ ২: হোমপেজের ফর্মে প্রথমে Examination অপশন থেকে HSC/Alim নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৩: Year ঘরে 2026 নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৪: Board ঘর থেকে নিজের বোর্ডটি বেছে নিন — ঢাকা, রাজশাহী, কুমিল্লা, যশোর, চট্টগ্রাম, বরিশাল, সিলেট, দিনাজপুর, ময়মনসিংহ, মাদ্রাসা বা টেকনিক্যাল।

ধাপ ৫: Roll ঘরে নিজের রোল নম্বরটি ঠিকভাবে লিখুন। রোল নম্বর প্রবেশপত্রে যেভাবে আছে, ঠিক সেভাবেই লিখতে হবে।

ধাপ ৬: Reg: No ঘরে রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বরটি লিখুন।

ধাপ ৭: ছবিতে দেখানো সংখ্যার যোগফল (যেমন 4 + 3) সঠিকভাবে লিখে Submit বোতামে চাপ দিন।

সব তথ্য ঠিক থাকলে পরের পাতায় আপনার নাম, রোল, প্রতিষ্ঠানের নামসহ পুরো মার্কশিট দেখা যাবে — প্রতিটি বিষয়ের প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় পত্রের নম্বর, গ্রেড ও মোট জিপিএসহ। এই পাতা থেকেই ব্রাউজারের প্রিন্ট অপশন ব্যবহার করে পিডিএফ হিসেবে সংরক্ষণ করা যায়, যার বিস্তারিত নিয়ম নিচে দেওয়া আছে।

দ্বিতীয় অফিসিয়াল পোর্টাল eboardresults.com-এ Individual Result ও Institution Result — দুই ধরনের ফলই দেখা যায়। এই সাইটের সবচেয়ে বড় সুবিধা হলো এখানে মার্কশিটটি বিষয়ভিত্তিক নম্বরসহ বিস্তারিতভাবে দেখা যায় এবং একই পাতা থেকে সরাসরি প্রিন্ট বা পিডিএফ সংরক্ষণের ব্যবস্থা থাকে।

ব্যক্তিগত মার্কশিট (Individual Result)

ধাপ ১: ব্রাউজারে eboardresults.com ঠিকানায় যান।

ধাপ ২: হোমপেজ থেকে HSC/Alim/Equivalent অপশনটি নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৩: Examination ঘরে HSC/Alim, Year ঘরে 2026 ও Board ঘরে নিজের বোর্ড নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৪: Result Type থেকে Individual Result বেছে নিন।

ধাপ ৫: Roll ঘরে রোল নম্বর ও Registration ঘরে রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বর লিখুন।

ধাপ ৬: Security Key ঘরে পাশে দেখানো অক্ষর ও সংখ্যাগুলো ঠিকভাবে লিখুন। অক্ষরগুলো ছোট-বড় হাতের পার্থক্যসহ দেখে লিখতে হয়।

ধাপ ৭: Get Result বোতামে চাপ দিন।

ফলাফলের পাতায় আপনার পুরো মার্কশিট দেখা যাবে। এখানে প্রতিটি বিষয়ের পত্রভিত্তিক নম্বর, গ্রেড পয়েন্ট, মোট নম্বর ও জিপিএ একসঙ্গে সাজানো থাকে। পাতার উপরে থাকা প্রিন্ট অপশন থেকে মার্কশিটটি পিডিএফ আকারে ডাউনলোড করে নেওয়া যায়।

প্রতিষ্ঠানভিত্তিক মার্কশিট (Institution Result)

নিজের কলেজের সব পরীক্ষার্থীর ফল একসঙ্গে দেখতে চাইলে Institution Result ব্যবহার করুন। এ জন্য কলেজের EIIN নম্বর জানা থাকতে হয় — EIIN নম্বরটি সাধারণত কলেজের নোটিশ বোর্ডে বা কলেজের ওয়েবসাইটে দেওয়া থাকে।

ধাপ ১: eboardresults.com-এ গিয়ে HSC/Alim/Equivalent নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ২: Examination, Year (2026) ও Board নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৩: Result Type থেকে Institution Result বেছে নিন।

ধাপ ৪: EIIN ঘরে কলেজের EIIN নম্বরটি লিখুন।

ধাপ ৫: Security Key লিখে Get Result বোতামে চাপ দিন।

এরপর ওই প্রতিষ্ঠানের সব পরীক্ষার্থীর রোল, নাম, বিষয়ভিত্তিক নম্বর ও জিপিএসহ পূর্ণাঙ্গ তালিকা দেখা যাবে। শিক্ষক ও অভিভাবকদের জন্য এই পদ্ধতিটি সবচেয়ে কাজের, কারণ এতে আলাদা আলাদা রোল দিয়ে প্রত্যেকের ফল খুঁজতে হয় না।

দুই পোর্টালের তুলনা — কোনটা কখন ব্যবহার করবেন

ফল প্রকাশের দিন একটিতে ঢুকতে না পারলে অন্যটিতে চেষ্টা করুন। দুটি পোর্টালই শিক্ষা বোর্ডের অফিসিয়াল, তাই দুই জায়গার ফল একই হবে — কোনো পার্থক্য থাকার কথা নয়। যদি কোনো পোর্টালে ফল একরকম আর অন্য পোর্টালে আরেকরকম দেখায়, তাহলে রোল ও রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বর আবার মিলিয়ে দেখুন; ভুল নম্বর দিলে অন্য কারও ফল চলে আসতে পারে।

মার্কশিট পিডিএফ ডাউনলোড করার নিয়ম

মার্কশিট দেখার পর সেটি সংরক্ষণ করে রাখা জরুরি। অনলাইন মার্কশিট পরবর্তীতে আবার দেখতে গেলে সাইটে ঢুকতে হয়, কিন্তু পিডিএফ কপি থাকলে যেকোনো সময় অফলাইনে দেখা যায় এবং প্রয়োজনে প্রিন্ট করা যায়।

মোবাইল ফোনে (অ্যান্ড্রয়েড)

ধাপ ১: যেকোনো একটি পোর্টাল থেকে মার্কশিটের পাতাটি খুলুন।

ধাপ ২: ব্রাউজারের মেনু (উপরে ডানদিকে তিনটি ডট) থেকে Share বা Print অপশনটি বেছে নিন।

ধাপ ৩: প্রিন্ট অপশনে গিয়ে প্রিন্টারের জায়গায় Save as PDF নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৪: Save বোতাম চাপ দিয়ে ফোনের ডাউনলোড ফোল্ডারে পিডিএফটি সংরক্ষণ করুন।

ধাপ ৫: ফাইলটি খুলে দেখে নিন — নাম, রোল, প্রতিটি বিষয়ের নম্বর ও জিপিএ সব ঠিক আছে কি না।

কম্পিউটারে

ধাপ ১: মার্কশিটের পাতাটি ব্রাউজারে খুলুন।

ধাপ ২: কিবোর্ডে Ctrl + P চাপ দিন, অথবা ব্রাউজার মেনু থেকে Print নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৩: Destination বা Printer ঘরে Save as PDF বা Microsoft Print to PDF নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৪: Save চাপ দিয়ে নিজের পছন্দের ফোল্ডারে ফাইলটি সংরক্ষণ করুন। ফাইলের নামে নিজের রোল নম্বর রাখলে পরে খুঁজে পেতে সুবিধা হয় — যেমন HSC-Marksheet-2026-Roll-123456.pdf।

মার্কশিটের পিডিএফ সংরক্ষণের সময় দুটি কাজ অবশ্যই করবেন। প্রথমত, পিডিএফটি খুলে একবার চোখ বুলিয়ে নিন — অনেক সময় প্রিন্ট সেটিংসের কারণে পাতার ডানদিকের অংশ কাটা পড়ে যায়। দ্বিতীয়ত, ফাইলটির একটি কপি গুগল ড্রাইভ বা ইমেইলে রেখে দিন, যাতে ফোন হারালেও বা বদলালেও মার্কশিটটি হাতছাড়া না হয়।

মার্কশিটের বিষয়ভিত্তিক নম্বর কীভাবে পড়বেন

মার্কশিট হাতে পেয়ে অনেকেই প্রথমে শুধু জিপিএ দেখেন, কিন্তু ভর্তি পরীক্ষা বা বিষয় নির্বাচনের সময় প্রতিটি বিষয়ের নম্বরই আসল কাজে আসে। মার্কশিটের প্রতিটি সারি কী বোঝায়, তা জেনে নিন।

বাংলা প্রথম পত্র ও দ্বিতীয় পত্র — দুটি পত্রের নম্বর আলাদাভাবে দেওয়া থাকে। একইভাবে ইংরেজি প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় পত্র, এবং গ্রুপের বিষয়গুলো (যেমন পদার্থবিজ্ঞান, রসায়ন, জীববিজ্ঞান, হিসাববিজ্ঞান, অর্থনীতি) প্রতিটির প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় পত্রের নম্বর আলাদা সারিতে থাকে। কোনো বিষয়ের দুটি পত্রের নম্বর যোগ করে সেই বিষয়ের মোট নম্বর বের হয়, আর সেই মোটের ওপর ভিত্তি করে বিষয়টির গ্রেড নির্ধারণ হয়।

উদাহরণ হিসেবে ধরা যাক, বাংলা প্রথম পত্রে ৭২ ও দ্বিতীয় পত্রে ৬৮ পেয়েছেন। তাহলে বাংলায় মোট ১৪০, গড়ে ৭০ — গ্রেড A, গ্রেড পয়েন্ট ৪.০০। আবার কোনো বিষয়ে এক পত্রে ৮৫ আর অন্য পত্রে ৫৫ পেলে মোট ১৪০ হলেও গড় একই থাকে, তাই গ্রেডও একই হবে। অর্থাৎ গ্রেড নির্ধারণ হয় দুই পত্রের গড়ের ওপর, আলাদা আলাদা পত্রের ওপর নয়।

মার্কশিটে আরও একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় থাকে — ব্যবহারিক (Practical) নম্বর। বিজ্ঞান বিভাগের বিষয়গুলোতে লিখিত পরীক্ষার পাশাপাশি ব্যবহারিক পরীক্ষার নম্বর থাকে, যা সংশ্লিষ্ট পত্রের মোট নম্বরের সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকে। মার্কশিটে ব্যবহারিকের নম্বর আলাদাভাবে দেখানো হয় না, তবে কোনো বিষয়ে নম্বর অস্বাভাবিক কম মনে হলে ব্যবহারিকের নম্বর ঠিকমতো যোগ হয়েছে কি না, তা কলেজে যাচাই করে দেখা ভালো।

গ্রেড ও গ্রেড পয়েন্টের তালিকা

জিপিএ কীভাবে হিসাব হয়

জিপিএ হলো সব বিষয়ের গ্রেড পয়েন্টের গড়। তবে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম আছে — চতুর্থ বিষয় (অতিরিক্ত বিষয়) গণনায় কিছুটা ভিন্নভাবে ধরা হয়। চতুর্থ বিষয়ে প্রাপ্ত গ্রেড পয়েন্ট থেকে ২.০০ বাদ দিয়ে বাকি অংশ মূল গড়ের সঙ্গে যোগ করা হয়। যেমন চতুর্থ বিষয়ে A+ (৫.০০) পেলে তার থেকে ২.০০ বাদ দিয়ে ৩.০০ যোগ হবে। আর চতুর্থ বিষয়ে ২.০০ বা তার কম পেলে তা জিপিএতে কোনো প্রভাব ফেলে না।

আরও একটি নিয়ম মনে রাখবেন — যেকোনো একটি বিষয়েও F গ্রেড এলে সামগ্রিক ফলাফল ফেল হিসেবে গণ্য হয়, বাকি সব বিষয়ে A+ থাকলেও। এ কারণে মার্কশিটে কোনো বিষয়ে F আছে কি না, সেটা প্রথমেই দেখে নেওয়া উচিত।

এসএমএসে মার্কশিট চেক করার নিয়ম

ইন্টারনেট না থাকলে বা সাইটে ঢুকতে না পারলে মোবাইলে এসএমএসের মাধ্যমে ফল জানা যায়। তবে একটি বিষয় পরিষ্কার করে জানা দরকার — এসএমএসে পুরো মার্কশিট আসে না। এসএমএসের উত্তরে শুধু আপনার গ্রেড, জিপিএ ও পাস-ফেলের তথ্য থাকে; প্রতিটি বিষয়ের আলাদা নম্বর এসএমএসে পাওয়া যায় না। বিষয়ভিত্তিক নম্বর জানতে হলে অনলাইন পোর্টালই ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

এসএমএস পাঠানোর নিয়ম

মোবাইলের মেসেজ অপশনে গিয়ে লিখুন: HSC <বোর্ডের কোড> <রোল নম্বর> 2026 — তারপর পাঠিয়ে দিন 16140 নম্বরে।

উদাহরণ: ঢাকা বোর্ডের একজন পরীক্ষার্থীর রোল ১২৩৪৫৬ হলে লিখতে হবে: HSC DHA 123456 2026

মাদ্রাসা বোর্ডের (আলিম) পরীক্ষার্থীরা লিখবেন: ALIM MAD 123456 2026

টেকনিক্যাল বোর্ডের (বিএম/ভোকেশনাল) পরীক্ষার্থীরা লিখবেন: HSC TEC 123456 2026

ফিরতি এসএমএসে আপনার নাম, বোর্ড, গ্রেড ও জিপিএ জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। প্রতি এসএমএসে নির্ধারিত চার্জ প্রযোজ্য হয়, তাই একবার পাঠিয়ে উত্তর না এলে বারবার একই মেসেজ পাঠাবেন না — কিছুক্ষণ অপেক্ষা করে আবার চেষ্টা করুন।

১১ বোর্ডের এসএমএস কোড ও পরীক্ষার্থী সংখ্যা

বোর্ডের কোড ভুল লিখলে ফল আসবে না বা ভুল তথ্য আসতে পারে। মেসেজ পাঠানোর আগে কোডটি উপরের তালিকা মিলিয়ে দেখুন। বিশেষ করে চট্টগ্রাম (CHI) ও কুমিল্লা (COM) কোড দুটি অনেকে গুলিয়ে ফেলেন — চট্টগ্রামের কোড CHI, কুমিল্লার কোড COM।

মার্কশিট দেখতে সমস্যা হলে কী করবেন

ফল প্রকাশের দিন সবচেয়ে বেশি সমস্যা হয় সাইটে ঢোকা নিয়ে। নিচের সমস্যাগুলো প্রায় প্রতিবছরই দেখা যায় — এবং প্রতিটিরই সমাধান আছে।

সাইট খুলছে না বা খুব ধীর

ফল প্রকাশের প্রথম এক-দুই ঘণ্টায় দুটি পোর্টালেই একসঙ্গে লাখ লাখ মানুষ ঢোকে। সাইট না খুললে বারবার রিফ্রেশ না করে দুই-তিন মিনিট অপেক্ষা করে আবার চেষ্টা করুন। একটি পোর্টাল না খুললে অন্যটিতে চেষ্টা করুন। ভোরের দিকে বা দুপুরের পর ভিড় কিছুটা কমে — তখন মার্কশিট দেখা তুলনামূলক সহজ হয়।

"রোল নম্বর বা রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বর ভুল" দেখাচ্ছে

প্রথমে প্রবেশপত্র ও রেজিস্ট্রেশন কার্ড হাতে নিয়ে নম্বর দুটি আবার মিলিয়ে দেখুন। রোল নম্বরে বাড়তি শূন্য (০) বা কম শূন্য দেওয়া হলে ফল মিলবে না। বাংলা সংখ্যায় লেখা রোল ইংরেজি সংখ্যায় লিখতে হয়। বোর্ড নির্বাচন ভুল হলেও একই বার্তা আসতে পারে — ঢাকা বোর্ডের পরীক্ষার্থী ভুলে রাজশাহী বোর্ড নির্বাচন করলে ফল পাবেন না।

মার্কশিটের পাতা ফাঁকা আসছে

মার্কশিটের পাতা খুলে যদি কোনো নম্বর দেখা না যায়, তাহলে সম্ভবত পাতাটি পুরোপুরি লোড হয়নি। পাতাটি রিফ্রেশ করে আবার চেষ্টা করুন। মোবাইলে ডেটা সংযোগ দুর্বল থাকলে ওয়াইফাই ব্যবহার করুন। তারপরও ফাঁকা এলে কিছুক্ষণ পর আবার চেষ্টা করুন — ফল প্রকাশের প্রথম ঘণ্টায় সার্ভারের চাপে পাতা আংশিক লোড হওয়ার ঘটনা ঘটে।

নম্বর ভুল মনে হচ্ছে

মার্কশিটে কোনো বিষয়ের নম্বর যদি আপনার প্রত্যাশার চেয়ে অনেক কম মনে হয়, তাহলে প্রথমে নম্বরটি আবার ভালোভাবে পড়ুন — অনেক সময় প্রথম পত্রের নম্বরকে মোট নম্বর ভেবে ভুল বোঝাবুঝি হয়। তারপর রোল ও রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বর ঠিক আছে কি না, তা আবার মিলিয়ে দেখুন। নম্বর সত্যিই অস্বাভাবিক মনে হলে বোর্ড চ্যালেঞ্জের (পুনঃনিরীক্ষণের) আবেদন করা যায় — নিয়মটি নিচে দেওয়া আছে। তবে মনে রাখবেন, পুনঃনিরীক্ষণে শুধু নম্বর গণনা ও উত্তরপত্রের কোনো অংশ বাদ পড়েছে কি না, তা যাচাই করা হয়; উত্তরপত্র নতুন করে মূল্যায়ন করা হয় না।

পিডিএফ ডাউনলোড হচ্ছে না

পিডিএফ সংরক্ষণের সময় ফোনের স্টোরেজ পূর্ণ থাকলে ডাউনলোড ব্যর্থ হতে পারে। ডাউনলোড ফোল্ডারে জায়গা আছে কি না, দেখে নিন। ব্রাউজারের পপ-আপ বা ডাউনলোড অনুমতি বন্ধ থাকলেও পিডিএফ আটকে যেতে পারে — ব্রাউজারের সেটিংস থেকে ওই সাইটের জন্য ডাউনলোড অনুমতি চালু করে নিন।

সাধারণ সমস্যা ও সমাধান একনজরে

ফল নিয়ে সন্দেহ থাকলে বোর্ড চ্যালেঞ্জ বা পুনঃনিরীক্ষণের আবেদন করা যায়। গত চক্রের নিয়মে প্রতি পত্রের ফি ছিল ১৫০ টাকা। ২০২৬ সালের আবেদনের সময়সীমা, ফি ও আবেদনের পদ্ধতি ফল প্রকাশের দিন বা তার পরপরই শিক্ষা বোর্ডের নোটিশে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে — নোটিশ না দেখে আবেদন করবেন না। সাধারণত টেলিটক মোবাইল থেকে এসএমএসের মাধ্যমে আবেদন করতে হয়, এবং আবেদনের সময়সীমা ফল প্রকাশের পর কয়েকদিনের মধ্যেই শেষ হয়ে যায়। তাই ফল প্রকাশের পর বোর্ডের ওয়েবসাইটে নোটিশটি নিয়মিত দেখুন।

পুনঃনিরীক্ষণের ফল সাধারণত আবেদনের কয়েক সপ্তাহের মধ্যে প্রকাশ করা হয়। আবেদন করলেই নম্বর বাড়বে — এমন কোনো নিশ্চয়তা নেই। তবে নম্বর গণনায় ভুল থাকলে বা কোনো উত্তরের নম্বর বাদ পড়লে তা সংশোধন করা হয়।

মার্কশিট সংরক্ষণ ও ব্যবহারের পরামর্শ

মার্কশিট একবার দেখেই ফেলে রাখবেন না — এটি পরের কয়েক মাসে বারবার কাজে লাগবে। ভর্তি আবেদনের সময় অনেক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও কলেজ বিষয়ভিত্তিক নম্বর চায়। বৃত্তির আবেদনেও মার্কশিটের কপি জমা দিতে হতে পারে। তাই মার্কশিটের পিডিএফ কপিটি ফোনে, কম্পিউটারে ও গুগল ড্রাইভে — তিন জায়গায় রাখুন।

মার্কশিটের ছবি বা পিডিএফ সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে প্রকাশ করবেন না। এতে আপনার রোল নম্বর, রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বর ও ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সবার সামনে চলে আসে, যা দিয়ে অন্য কেউ আপনার ফল দেখে নিতে পারে বা তথ্যের অপব্যবহার করতে পারে। ভর্তি বা আবেদনের কাজে শুধু সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষকে মার্কশিটের কপি দিন।

ফল প্রকাশের কিছুদিন পর নিজ শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে বোর্ডের দেওয়া মূল মার্কশিট ও সনদ সংগ্রহ করুন। অনলাইন মার্কশিট সাময়িক কাজে চলে, কিন্তু ভর্তি বা চাকরির চূড়ান্ত যাচাইয়ে অনেক সময় মূল কাগজপত্র চাওয়া হয়।

HSC Result with Marksheet 2026 — How to Check, Download and Read Your Marksheet

The HSC Examination 2026 result will be published on Thursday, 29 October 2026, in the morning. A total of 12,70,583 candidates sat for the examination under 11 education boards — nine general boards, the Madrasah Board and the Technical Board. On result day, the first question every candidate asks is not only whether they passed, but how many marks they scored in each subject. That subject-wise list of marks is the marksheet. This guide explains every method of viewing, downloading, reading and saving your marksheet — online, by SMS, on mobile and on computer.

What Is a Marksheet and What Does It Contain

A marksheet is the formal statement of the marks a candidate obtained in every subject and paper. A regular result shows only the letter grade (such as A+, A or B) and the overall GPA, but a marksheet shows the separate marks of each paper, the grade point of each subject and the total marks. Admission applications, scholarships, job applications and applications for study abroad often ask for subject-wise marks, not only grades — and that is when the marksheet becomes essential.

Note that the print or PDF of an online marksheet is for temporary use. For admission or official work, many institutions ask for the original marksheet or academic transcript issued by the board, which must be collected from your own institution a few days after the result is published.

Marksheet vs Grade Sheet vs Transcript — What Is the Difference

Many people use these three words as if they mean the same thing, but they are different. Submitting the wrong document can hold up an admission or an application, so the difference is worth knowing.

In simple words — the marksheet is the account of marks, the grade sheet is a short summary of grades, and the transcript is the board's formal and complete document. This post deals mainly with the online marksheet, because on result day that is what everyone needs first.

How to Check Your Marksheet Online — Method 1: educationboardresults.gov.bd

The official result portal of the education boards, educationboardresults.gov.bd, is the most reliable place to view your marksheet. On result day, lakhs of people visit this site at the same time, so it may run slowly during the first hour in the morning — waiting and trying once or twice is usually enough.

Step 1: Open educationboardresults.gov.bd in the browser of your mobile or computer.

Step 2: In the form on the homepage, select HSC/Alim from the Examination option.

Step 3: Select 2026 in the Year field.

Step 4: Select your board from the Board field — Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Madrasah or Technical.

Step 5: Type your roll number in the Roll field, exactly as it appears on your admit card.

Step 6: Type your registration number in the Reg: No field.

Step 7: Write the sum of the numbers shown in the image (for example 4 + 3) correctly and press the Submit button.

If all the information is correct, the next page will show your full marksheet with your name, roll, institution name, the marks of the first and second paper of every subject, the grades and the total GPA. From this page you can save the marksheet as a PDF using the browser's print option, as explained in detail below.

Note that this portal needs both the roll number and the registration number. The marksheet cannot be viewed here with the roll number alone. If you do not have your registration number at hand, use the second method (eboardresults.com), which also offers a way to view the result with the registration number.

How to Check Your Marksheet Online — Method 2: eboardresults.com (Web-Based Result)

The second official portal, eboardresults.com, offers both Individual Result and Institution Result. Its biggest advantage is that the marksheet is shown here in detail with subject-wise marks, and the same page provides a print and PDF option.

Individual Marksheet (Individual Result)

Step 1: Open eboardresults.com in your browser.

Step 2: Select the HSC/Alim/Equivalent option on the homepage.

Step 3: Select HSC/Alim in the Examination field, 2026 in the Year field and your board in the Board field.

Step 4: Select Individual Result as the Result Type.

Step 5: Type your roll number in the Roll field and your registration number in the Registration field.

Step 6: Type the letters and numbers shown beside the Security Key field exactly as they appear, including upper and lower case.

Step 7: Press the Get Result button.

The result page will show your complete marksheet. Every subject's paper-wise marks, grade points, total marks and GPA are arranged together here. The print option at the top of the page lets you download the marksheet as a PDF.

Institution-Wise Marksheet (Institution Result)

To see the results of all the candidates of your college together, use the Institution Result option. You need to know the college's EIIN number for this — the EIIN is usually given on the college notice board or the college website.

Step 1: Go to eboardresults.com and select HSC/Alim/Equivalent.

Step 2: Select the Examination, Year (2026) and Board.

Step 3: Select Institution Result as the Result Type.

Step 4: Type the college's EIIN number in the EIIN field.

Step 5: Type the Security Key and press the Get Result button.

After this, the full list of the institution's candidates will appear, with roll, name, subject-wise marks and GPA. This method is most useful for teachers and guardians, because it removes the need to search each candidate's result with a separate roll number.

Comparing the Two Portals — Which One to Use and When

If one portal does not open on result day, try the other. Both portals are official portals of the education boards, so the result will be the same in both places — there should be no difference. If the two portals show different results, check your roll and registration numbers again; entering a wrong number can bring up someone else's result.

How to Download Your Marksheet as a PDF

After viewing the marksheet, saving it is important. To view the online marksheet again later you must visit the site, but a PDF copy can be viewed offline at any time and printed when needed.

On a Mobile Phone (Android)

Step 1: Open the marksheet page from either portal.

Step 2: From the browser menu (the three dots at the top right), select Share or Print.

Step 3: In the print option, select Save as PDF in place of the printer.

Step 4: Press Save and store the PDF in the phone's download folder.

Step 5: Open the file and check that the name, roll, marks of every subject and GPA are all correct.

On a Computer

Step 1: Open the marksheet page in the browser.

Step 2: Press Ctrl + P on the keyboard, or select Print from the browser menu.

Step 3: In the Destination or Printer field, select Save as PDF or Microsoft Print to PDF.

Step 4: Press Save and store the file in a folder of your choice. Keeping your roll number in the file name makes it easier to find later — for example HSC-Marksheet-2026-Roll-123456.pdf.

Do two things when saving the marksheet PDF. First, open the PDF and look through it once — sometimes the right side of the page gets cut off because of print settings. Second, keep a copy in Google Drive or in your email, so that the marksheet is not lost even if the phone is lost or changed.

How to Read the Subject-Wise Marks on Your Marksheet

After getting the marksheet, many people look only at the GPA, but for admission tests or subject selection, the marks of each subject are what really matter. Here is what each row of the marksheet means.

Bangla first paper and second paper — the marks of the two papers are given separately. In the same way, English first and second paper, and the group subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting and Economics) have the marks of each first and second paper in separate rows. Adding the two papers of a subject gives the total marks of that subject, and the grade of the subject is decided on that total.

Take an example: suppose you scored 72 in Bangla first paper and 68 in Bangla second paper. Then the total in Bangla is 140, an average of 70 — grade A, grade point 4.00. Again, if you score 85 in one paper and 55 in the other, the total is still 140, so the average and the grade remain the same. In other words, the grade is decided on the average of the two papers, not on the papers separately.

One more important point on the marksheet is the practical marks. In science subjects, apart from the written examination there are practical examination marks, which are added to the total marks of the related paper. Practical marks are not shown in a separate row on the marksheet, but if the marks in any subject seem unusually low, it is worth checking with your college whether the practical marks were added correctly.

Grade and Grade Point Table

How GPA Is Calculated

GPA is the average of the grade points of all subjects. But there is one important rule — the fourth subject (optional subject) is counted a little differently. From the grade point obtained in the fourth subject, 2.00 is deducted, and the remainder is added to the main average. For example, if you get A+ (5.00) in the fourth subject, 2.00 is deducted and 3.00 is added. If you score 2.00 or less in the fourth subject, it has no effect on the GPA.

Another rule to remember — if you get an F grade in even one subject, the overall result is counted as fail, even if you have A+ in every other subject. For that reason, the first thing to check on the marksheet is whether there is an F in any subject.

How to Check Your Marksheet by SMS

If there is no internet, or if the site cannot be opened, the result can be known by SMS from a mobile phone. But one thing must be stated clearly — the full marksheet does not come by SMS. The SMS reply contains only your grade, GPA and pass-fail information; the separate marks of each subject are not available by SMS. To know the subject-wise marks, the online portal must be used.

How to Send the SMS

Go to the message option of your mobile and write: HSC <board code> <roll number> 2026 — then send it to 16140.

Example: for a Dhaka board candidate with roll 123456, write: HSC DHA 123456 2026

Madrasah board (Alim) candidates write: ALIM MAD 123456 2026

Technical board (BM/Vocational) candidates write: HSC TEC 123456 2026

The reply SMS will inform you of your name, board, grade and GPA. A fixed charge applies to each SMS, so do not send the same message again and again if the reply does not come at once — wait a while and try again.

SMS Codes and Candidate Numbers of the 11 Boards

Writing the wrong board code will bring no result or a wrong result. Check the code against the table above before sending the message. Many people confuse the codes of Chattogram (CHI) and Cumilla (COM) — Chattogram is CHI and Cumilla is COM.

What to Do When You Face a Problem Viewing Your Marksheet

On result day, the most common problem is getting into the site. The problems below appear almost every year — and each of them has a solution.

The Site Does Not Open or Is Very Slow

During the first one or two hours after the result is published, lakhs of people visit both portals at once. If the site does not open, do not keep refreshing — wait two or three minutes and try again. If one portal does not open, try the other. The rush eases a little towards noon or later in the day, and viewing the marksheet becomes comparatively easier then.

"Roll Number or Registration Number Is Wrong"

First, take your admit card and registration card in hand and match the two numbers again. If the roll number is entered with an extra zero or a missing zero, the result will not match. Roll numbers written in Bengali digits must be typed in English digits. Selecting the wrong board can also produce the same message — a Dhaka board candidate who mistakenly selects Rajshahi board will not get the result.

The Marksheet Page Appears Blank

If the marksheet page opens but no marks are visible, the page has probably not loaded fully. Refresh the page and try again. On a mobile phone, use Wi-Fi if the data connection is weak. If it is still blank, try again after a while — in the first hour of result publication, pages sometimes load partially because of the load on the server.

The Marks Look Wrong

If the marks in any subject seem much lower than you expected, first read the number again carefully — many people mistake the first paper's marks for the total marks. Then match the roll and registration numbers again. If the marks really look unusual, you can apply for a board challenge (re-scrutiny) — the rule is given below. But remember, in a re-scrutiny only the counting of marks and whether any part of the answer script was left unmarked are checked; the answer script is not re-evaluated.

The PDF Is Not Downloading

If the phone's storage is full, the download may fail when saving the PDF. Check whether there is space in the download folder. The PDF can also get stuck if the browser's pop-up or download permission is turned off for that site — turn on the download permission for the site from the browser settings.

Common Problems and Solutions at a Glance

If There Is a Mistake in Your Marksheet — Board Challenge (Re-scrutiny)

If you have doubts about the result, you can apply for a board challenge or re-scrutiny. Under the previous cycle's rules, the fee was 150 taka per paper. The application window, fee and application method for 2026 will be announced in the education board's notice on result day or soon after — do not apply before reading the notice. Usually the application is made by SMS from a Teletalk mobile, and the application window closes within a few days of the result. So keep checking the board's website for the notice after the result is published.
