চতুর্থ বিষয়সহ জিপিএ হিসাবের নিয়ম

চতুর্থ বিষয়ের গ্রেড পয়েন্ট GPA হিসাবের সময় বিশেষ নিয়মে যোগ হয়। চতুর্থ বিষয়ে প্রাপ্ত গ্রেড পয়েন্ট থেকে ২.০০ বাদ দিয়ে বাকি অংশটুকু মূল ছয়টি বিষয়ের মোট গ্রেড পয়েন্টের সঙ্গে যোগ করা হয়, তারপর ৬ দিয়ে ভাগ করা হয়। একটি উদাহরণ দেখুন: ধরুন, আপনার মূল ছয়টি বিষয়ের গ্রেড পয়েন্টের যোগফল ২৬.৫০, আর চতুর্থ বিষয়ে আপনি A গ্রেড (৪.০০) পেয়েছেন। তাহলে চতুর্থ বিষয় থেকে যোগ হবে ৪.০০ − ২.০০ = ২.০০। মোট হবে ২৬.৫০ + ২.০০ = ২৮.৫০। একে ৬ দিয়ে ভাগ করলে GPA হবে ২৮.৫০ ÷ ৬ = ৪.৭৫। অর্থাৎ আপনার GPA ৪.৭৫।
