Headline হলো রিপোর্টের প্রথম ইমপ্রেশন। ভালো Headline-এর বৈশিষ্ট্য:

• সংক্ষিপ্ত: ৬–৮টি শব্দের মধ্যে রাখো।

• Present tense ব্যবহার করো: "Fire breaks out in garment factory" — অতীত কালের "broke" Headline-এ লিখো না।

• সক্রিয় ও নির্দিষ্ট: কোন জায়গায় আগুন লেগেছে তা Headline-এই পরিষ্কার করো।

• Articles বাদ দাও: "a", "the" Headline-এ সাধারণত বাদ যায়।
