Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue for Class 6, 7, 8, SSC, HSC
Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue for Class 6, 7, 8, SSC, HSC
Trees are the best friends of our life. They give us oxygen, shade, fruits, wood, and fresh air. Without trees, our earth would become hot, dry, and lifeless. That is why tree plantation is one of the most important topics for school and college students in Bangladesh. A dialogue on the importance of tree plantation comes in almost every English examination, from Class 6 to HSC. It is also a very common question in JSC, SSC, and HSC board exams, because examiners know that students must understand why we should plant more trees.
In this post, you will find four complete dialogues on the importance of tree plantation — one for Class 6-7, one for Class 8-9, one for SSC, and one for HSC. Each dialogue is written in simple, natural English that you can easily memorise and write in the examination hall. Under every English line, a line-by-line Bengali translation is given, so that even a weak student can understand the meaning and learn the dialogue quickly. At the end, you will also find difficult word meanings, dialogue writing tips, and answers to the most common questions about this topic.
Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue for Class 6-7
This dialogue is written in very easy English for the students of Class 6 and Class 7. The sentences are short, the words are simple, and the ideas are clear. If you are a junior student, memorise this dialogue first. It will help you to get full marks in your school examination.
Suppose, you are Rafi and your friend is Mina. You are talking about the importance of tree plantation. Now write a dialogue between you and your friend.
Rafi: Hello Mina, how are you?
Mina: I am fine, Rafi. And you?
Rafi: I am also fine. Do you know why we should plant trees?
Mina: Yes, I know a little. Trees give us oxygen and fresh air.
Rafi: You are right. We cannot live without oxygen.
Mina: Trees also give us fruits, flowers, and wood.
Rafi: Yes. They also give us shade in the hot summer.
Mina: Trees keep our environment clean and cool.
Rafi: That is true. Trees also bring rain.
Mina: But people are cutting down trees every day. Is it not bad?
Rafi: Yes, it is very bad. If we cut trees, our earth will become hot and dry.
Mina: Then what should we do?
Rafi: We should plant more and more trees in our school, home, and roadsides.
Mina: You are right. I will plant a tree in our school garden tomorrow.
Rafi: Very good. I will also plant one. Let us take care of our trees together.
Mina: Yes, let us do it. Thank you, Rafi.
Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue for Class 8-9
This dialogue is written for the students of Class 8 and Class 9. The English is a little richer than the junior level, and the ideas are explained more clearly. It is suitable for JSC and school examinations. Read the dialogue carefully, understand the Bengali meaning of each line, and then practise writing it from memory.
Suppose, you are Sabbir and your friend is Tania. One day after school, you are talking about the importance of tree plantation in our life. Now write a dialogue between you and your friend.
Sabbir: Hello Tania, did you see the tree plantation programme in our school today?
Tania: Yes, I did. Our headmaster planted a mango tree in front of the school building.
Sabbir: It was a very nice programme. Do you know why tree plantation is so important?
Tania: Of course. Trees are very important for our life and environment.
Sabbir: You are right. First of all, trees give us oxygen. We breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.
Tania: Yes, and trees take in that carbon dioxide and give us fresh oxygen in return.
Sabbir: Exactly. Trees also give us food, fruits, medicines, timber, and fuel.
Tania: They also protect us from storms, floods, and soil erosion.
Sabbir: True. Trees make the land fertile and keep the soil strong with their roots.
Tania: But many people are cutting down trees for houses, roads, and furniture. What will happen then?
Sabbir: It will be very dangerous. Cutting down trees causes global warming and climate change.
Tania: Yes, I have read in the newspaper that the temperature of the earth is rising day by day.
Sabbir: That is why we must plant more trees to save our environment.
Tania: You are right. The government has also started tree plantation week in our country.
Sabbir: Yes. Every student should plant at least one tree every year.
Tania: I agree with you. I will plant two trees in our courtyard this rainy season.
Sabbir: That is a great idea. Planting a tree is like planting a hope for the future.
Tania: Really true. Let us inspire our friends to plant trees too.
Sabbir: Yes, let us do that. Thank you for the nice discussion, Tania.
Tania: You are welcome, Sabbir. See you tomorrow.
Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue for SSC
This dialogue is written for SSC candidates. The language is standard, the arguments are well organised, and the ideas cover the main points an examiner expects — oxygen, environment, economy, climate, and social responsibility. If you learn this dialogue well, you can answer any tree plantation dialogue question in the SSC examination, including the popular question "dialogue between two friends about the importance of tree plantation".
Suppose, you are Arif and your friend is Nusrat. You have just read a newspaper report about deforestation in Bangladesh. Now write a dialogue between you and your friend about the importance of tree plantation.
Arif: Hello Nusrat, have you read today's newspaper report on deforestation?
Nusrat: Yes, I have. It is really shocking. Thousands of trees are being cut down every day in our country.
Arif: Exactly. People are destroying forests for houses, industries, and firewood. Do you know what the result will be?
Nusrat: Of course. Our environment will be badly damaged. The air will become polluted and the temperature will rise.
Arif: You are right. Trees are the lungs of the earth. They take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen.
Nusrat: Without trees, no human being or animal can survive on this earth.
Arif: That is true. Trees also give us fruits, vegetables, medicines, timber, rubber, and paper.
Nusrat: Yes, and trees play a great role in our national economy too. Many people earn their living from tree-based industries.
Arif: Absolutely. Trees also save us from natural disasters like floods, cyclones, and droughts.
Nusrat: I agree. The roots of trees hold the soil tightly and prevent soil erosion and river erosion.
Arif: Trees also bring rainfall. In areas where there are no trees, there is very little rain.
Nusrat: That is why our country needs more trees. Bangladesh is a densely populated country, and we have very little forest land left.
Arif: Yes. According to experts, a country needs 25 percent forest land, but we have far less than that.
Nusrat: So what can we do as students to solve this problem?
Arif: We can plant trees in our school campus, on roadsides, on river banks, and in our homesteads.
Nusrat: We can also make people aware of the bad effects of cutting trees.
Arif: Yes. We should celebrate tree plantation week with enthusiasm and plant at least one tree each.
Nusrat: And we must take care of the trees we plant. Planting is not enough; nursing them is equally important.
Arif: You have said it perfectly. A tree planted today will give shade, food, and oxygen to the future generation.
Nusrat: Thank you, Arif. This discussion has increased my awareness a lot.
Arif: You are most welcome, Nusrat. Let us plant trees and save our planet.
Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue for HSC
This dialogue is written for HSC candidates. The vocabulary is more mature, the arguments are deeper, and the discussion touches on climate change, deforestation, biodiversity, carbon emissions, and sustainable development. It is ideal for HSC board examinations and test examinations. Practise it slowly, understand every line with the help of the Bengali translation, and then write it in your own words in the examination hall.
Suppose, you are Fahim and your friend is Priya. You are two HSC students discussing the importance of tree plantation in the context of climate change. Now write a dialogue between you and your friend.
Fahim: Hello Priya, did you watch the documentary on climate change last night?
Priya: Yes, I did. It was really alarming. The earth is getting warmer every year because of deforestation and carbon emissions.
Fahim: Exactly. Scientists say that deforestation is one of the main causes of global warming.
Priya: It is true. When we cut down trees, the carbon stored in them is released into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide.
Fahim: And at the same time, we lose the natural factories that absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen.
Priya: That is a double loss. Trees are the only natural solution to reduce carbon in the air.
Fahim: Absolutely. Besides, trees maintain the balance of nature. They protect biodiversity by giving shelter to birds, animals, and insects.
Priya: Yes. When a forest is destroyed, thousands of species lose their habitat and many become extinct.
Fahim: That is why the Amazon, the Sundarbans, and other forests of the world are called the lungs of the earth.
Priya: You are right. The Sundarbans protects the southern part of Bangladesh from cyclones and tidal surges.
Fahim: And mangrove forests like the Sundarbans also absorb a huge amount of carbon and protect the coastline from erosion.
Priya: But in Bangladesh, population pressure, illegal logging, and unplanned urbanisation are destroying our forests rapidly.
Fahim: That is a matter of great concern. If this continues, Bangladesh will face more floods, droughts, and heatwaves in the near future.
Priya: So tree plantation is not just an environmental activity; it is a matter of our survival.
Fahim: Very well said. We need a planned tree plantation programme — on roadsides, railway lines, river banks, school campuses, and fallow lands.
Priya: We should also plant fruit trees, medicinal trees, and timber trees according to the nature of the land.
Fahim: Yes. And the government, NGOs, educational institutions, and common people must work together for this purpose.
Priya: Social awareness is also essential. People must understand that cutting one tree means harming the future generation.
Fahim: I fully agree. We can organise seminars, rallies, and tree plantation weeks in our college to spread this message.
Priya: That is a great plan. Each of us should plant at least one tree and take care of it until it grows up.
Fahim: Exactly. As the proverb goes, the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, and the second best time is now.
Priya: What a beautiful saying! Let us start from today. Thank you for this meaningful discussion, Fahim.
Fahim: You are welcome, Priya. Together, we can make our country green again.

Dialogue Writing Tips
Writing a dialogue in the examination is not difficult if you follow some simple rules. Many students lose marks not because their English is bad, but because they do not maintain the correct format. Follow the tips below and you will get good marks in any dialogue question.
First, always start with a short introduction. Write one or two lines about who is talking and what the topic is. For example, write "Suppose, you are Rafi and your friend is Mina. You are talking about the importance of tree plantation." This introduction tells the examiner what the dialogue is about.
Second, keep the names of the speakers consistent. If you start with Rafi and Mina, use the same two names till the end. Do not change names in the middle. Write the name, then a colon, then the speech. Keep each speech short and natural, like real conversation.
Third, maintain a logical flow. A good dialogue has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Start with greeting, then introduce the topic, then discuss the main points one by one, and finish with agreement and thanks. Do not jump from one idea to another without connection.
Fourth, use simple and correct English. Do not try to use very difficult words that you are not sure about. Short, correct sentences are better than long, incorrect ones. For junior classes, use present simple tense mostly. For SSC and HSC, you can use some complex sentences, but they must be grammatically correct.
Fifth, include the main points of the topic. For tree plantation, always mention oxygen, fresh air, fruits, shade, rain, environment, climate change, soil erosion, and natural disasters. An examiner expects these points in a good dialogue on tree plantation.
Sixth, use some linking words to make the dialogue natural. Words like "yes", "of course", "exactly", "that is true", "I agree", "besides", and "that is why" make the conversation sound real. They also connect one speech with the next speech.
Seventh, end the dialogue politely. A dialogue should not end suddenly. Finish with a positive decision and thanks, such as "Let us plant trees and save our planet" or "Thank you for this nice discussion." This gives the dialogue a complete and beautiful ending.
Eighth, practise writing the dialogue from memory at least twice before the examination. Write it with a watch in your hand, because you must finish within the time limit. Check your spelling, punctuation, and capital letters after writing. These small things carry marks in the examination.
Importance of Tree Plantation Dialogue FAQ
What is a dialogue on the importance of tree plantation?
A dialogue on the importance of tree plantation is a conversation between two friends or two persons where they discuss why trees are important for our life and environment. The main points are: trees give us oxygen and fresh air; trees give us fruits, medicines, timber, and fuel; trees bring rain and keep the soil fertile; trees protect us from floods, cyclones, droughts, and soil erosion; trees reduce global warming and climate change; and trees keep the balance of nature and protect biodiversity. If you cover these points, your dialogue will be complete.
Why is tree plantation important in Bangladesh?
Tree plantation is extremely important in Bangladesh because our country is densely populated and our forest land is very limited. Cutting trees causes floods, river erosion, cyclones, and rising temperature. Planting more trees protects our environment, saves our coastal areas, reduces pollution, and ensures a healthy future for the next generation.
