Students and guardians across the country are now waiting for the final announcement from the education authority. This year, the scholarship examination was arranged in April after multiple postponements caused by legal issues. A large number of students from both government and private institutions joined the examination, making the result preparation process more time-consuming than expected. Allresultnet.com
The Primary Scholarship Examination for the 2025-2026 session took place from April 15 to April 18, 2026. The examination began with the Bangla subject and ended with Bangladesh and Global Studies along with Primary Science. The authority arranged the exam after completing all postponed schedules linked to earlier legal complications.
According to the Directorate of Primary Education, over 6 lakh 40 thousand students participated in the examination this year. Around 5 lakh 50 thousand students were from government primary schools, while nearly 90 thousand students joined from private schools and kindergartens. Officials said handling such a large number of answer scripts requires additional time. For this reason, the publication of the scholarship result may take longer than initially planned.
The Directorate of Primary Education is continuing the final work related to the scholarship result publication. Officials said they are trying to complete all remaining tasks before the Eid-ul-Azha holidays. After publication, students will be able to check their scholarship status directly from the official website using their examination roll number.

Education officials earlier hoped to release the scholarship result within May. However, the current situation indicates that the second week of May deadline will not be possible. The Directorate said the evaluation process is still incomplete due to the huge number of answer sheets.
A S M Sirajuddoha, Deputy Director of the Administration Division, confirmed that several activities are still pending. He explained that script checking, merit preparation, and other technical work require more time than expected. Despite the delay, the authority is making efforts to publish the result before the Eid holidays.
The scholarship selection process will follow merit rankings along with district and upazila-based distribution. According to the current system, one scholarship will be awarded for every eight students from government schools. In private institutions and kindergartens, approximately one out of every five and a half students may receive the scholarship.
Students and guardians are advised to stay updated through official announcements only. The Directorate of Primary Education will publish the confirmed result notice on its website after completing all formalities.
The scholarship result will be available online after the official publication. Students can easily view their result through the Directorate of Primary Education website by following a few simple steps. It is important to keep the roll number ready before starting the checking process to avoid mistakes.
· Visit the official website: Students must first open the official website of the Directorate of Primary Education at dpe.gov.bd using any internet-enabled device.
· Find the scholarship section: After opening the homepage, candidates should look for the Scholarship Result option available on the notice or menu section.
· Open the result page: Clicking on the scholarship result link will take students to a new page where the result checking system will appear.
· Enter examination details: Students need to type their correct roll number carefully in the required box to continue the process properly.
· Submit the information: After checking all entered details, students should click on the submit button to process the request.
· Check and save the result: Finally, the scholarship result will appear on the screen. Students may print or download the page for future use if necessary.
The online portal will display the scholarship status along with related information. Students are requested to avoid unofficial websites while checking the result. Due to heavy visitor traffic, the website may sometimes become slower after publication.
The authority may also introduce an SMS system for checking the scholarship result after publication. Although no official SMS format has been announced yet, students may receive updates through official notices later.
Usually, candidates need to send a message using a specific format that includes the examination roll number and board information. The message is then sent to an official number provided by the authority.
Students and guardians should carefully follow all notices published by the Directorate of Primary Education. Any SMS-related instructions will likely be announced together with the final result notice.
This year, scholarships will be provided under two separate categories. A total of 33,000 students will receive Talent Pool scholarships, while 49,500 students will be selected for General scholarships.
Students selected under the Talent Pool category will receive 300 taka every month. They will also get a yearly additional payment of 225 taka. Meanwhile, students receiving the General scholarship will get 225 taka per month along with the same yearly payment.
The scholarship support will continue for two years after students complete Class Five. In addition, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has proposed increasing the scholarship amount. If approved by the Ministry of Finance, students may receive higher scholarship payments in the future.
Students should carefully preserve their roll number and examination-related documents until the scholarship process is fully completed. These documents may be required during result checking and scholarship verification stages.
Candidates are strongly advised to follow only official notices published by the Directorate of Primary Education. During the result period, many false reports and fake notices may appear on social media platforms.
After publication, selected students may need to complete additional formalities through their schools. Educational institutions may provide instructions regarding document submission, scholarship confirmation, and future procedures.
Parents are requested not to panic regarding result delays. The authority is working to complete the process correctly and publish the scholarship result as soon as possible.
